Hampton Inn by Hilton Kamloops

Spacious clean rooms. Big counter in bathroom, lots of space. Mini kitchen area with separate sink, mini fridge/freezer combo, microwave & coffee maker. (I wish hotels would get coffee that tastes good.) we had a King bed suite, sitting area. Furniture was nice, bedside tables with lights and plug ins. Quiet. We had an adjoining suite with family which is convenient. Continental breakfast included eggs, sausage patties, waffles and more, delish! We didn’t make use of the pool & hot tub although it looked good and people were using it. Down side was the one elevator is quite slow. It was a restful stay, thank you. Staff were very accommodating and gracious.

Location: Easy access from main hwy coming into Kamloops and close to medical appointments and Hospital. All staff were accommodating and friendly. The continental breakfast room is large and comfortable. The food area is also spacious and food is always fresh and topped up. The best part of the morning in the continental breakfast, is the amazing Gina!! Her personality and professionalism is a breath of fresh air. She engages with the customers, smiles while cleaning and keeping the area clean and food filled. You can tell she takes pride in her work. Doris Kilba

The king suite was great Lots of room. Premium small Refrigerator and separate freezer. The bed was super comply. The couch was comfortable. More room than most hotels we stayed in. The breakfast was not a lot better than other hotels, but it was served in a more posh environment. The AC was tied to a thermostat and not too noisy. The exercise room was not huge but modern and adequate. Kamloops was built on hills and much larger than I expected. The Lobby and downstairs seating areas looked very nice. The stairway was inviting.

I was looking for location, cleanliness and breakfast included - I found great staff, specially the two people on the breakfast that was kind and super helpful, Gina and Eghosa. Breakfast has great options. Room was clean, well maintained , bed was confortable. Swimming pool was a plus, it was also clean and well maintained.

We experienced a windshield crack accident for our rental car on the way to Hampton Inn. The front end staff (Ms Srijana) sincerely provided us two different types strong plastic tape and the scissors for a temporary protection for safety for the following few days of our trip. Thank you so much for Ms Srijana and her customer-oriented services attitude !
